Ticket Sales cover about 40% of what it costs to bring you the shows at TampaRep. Sponsors are individuals and companies that choose to invest in the quality of their community by helping to make up the funding difference. If you'd like to sponsor a show, and artist, a venue or a specific part of the whole, you may donate here, or contact Emilia Sargent, Producing Artistic Director at esargent@tamparep.org
TampaRep will “Raise the Curtain on Mental Health Awareness" by presenting a suite of artistic programming and collaborative community engagement events.
Events include:
• the Pulitzer prize-winning and Tony Award-winning musical exploring bipolar disorder, NEXT TO NORMAL.
• IN MY OWN LITTLE CORNER, a one woman autobiographical musical production written and performed by Broadway actor/dancer Chryssie Whitehead-Disbrow.
• Complementary student workshops - "Care Boxes" - to help share ways to stop the stigma and normalize the conversation around mental illness.
TampaRep is proud also be working with a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) who will join the rehearsal process for NEXT TO NORMAL to provide education, facilitate discussion and offer self-care skills to artists and technicians.
